Course Overview

Discover the world of watercolour. Including wet-in-wet, salt technique, washes, wax technique, dry brush, masking fluid and sponge effects.

The sessions are for all levels of watercolour painters.

You will be encouraged and supported to develop your own unique, individual style.

The sessions are aimed to be relaxed for you to enjoy and have a chance to express yourself in watercolour in any way you wish.

What should I bring to the first lesson?

Watercolour paper, 2B pencil, putty rubber and watercolours of choice. For those who are continuing, bring along your preferred medium of paper and paints. Plenty of advice will be given in class on the value for money and quality of papers, brushes and materials.

Eligibility:

Those who are not currently in education, training or employment and are in receipt of state benefits or support (excluding state retirement pension). those aged 50 plus who are not in full-time employment.

- To allow us to provide equal opportunities for all eligible learners, please refrain from enrolling on more that three Learning For Work courses at this time. -
