Course Overview

This course will give you the opportunity to explore a range of different forms, styles and themes in your writing. We will look at poetry, prose, short stories and memoir, discussing examples of effective techniques. There will be plenty of time for you to write, and to share your writing if you wish. Guidance with spelling, punctuation and grammar will be available on request.
The course is suitable for writers at any level; the only requirements are willingness to try new things, both in writing and reading, and to support each other through constructive comments.

Eligibility:

Those who are not currently in education, training or employment and are in receipt of state benefits or support (excluding state retirement pension). those aged 50 plus who are not in full-time employment.
