Course Overview

Course Overview:
This is an enjoyable course for students who want to develop their speaking, listening, reading,
and writing skills. Here you will find plenty of opportunities to extend your vocabulary and reinforce
the grammatical structures you have already learned. Increase your confidence to express your
opinions, to talk about plans and past events.
As part of the course, you will read a book for your level. You will be listening to and speaking
Spanish from the first day. Cultural aspects of the Spanish-speaking world are introduced through
class activities, online resources and by joining the book club. The main aspect of each lesson is
conversation practice.
By the end of this course you will have covered the tenses of the indicative at a higher level
(present, past, future, conditional). The present tense of the subjunctive mood will be used in
practical situations.

Eligibility:

Those who are not currently in education, training or employment and are in receipt of state benefits or support (excluding state retirement pension). those aged 50 plus who are not in full-time employment.
