Colchester Avenue Allotments Saturday 10.00-14.00 08/6/2024 Aisling Judge

These nine One-Day Classes for productive gardeners and allotmenteers are held at Colchester Avenue Allotments on the 2nd Saturday of each month (except Dec, Apr and Aug). Each 4 hour session focuses on topical tasks for the month ahead, with some hands-on practical experience in sustainable eco-friendly growing techniques every month.

DIRECTIONS to Colchester Avenue Allotments
The best postcode to use for Colchester Avenue Allotments is either CF23 9DS or CF23 9BB – which are for the houses at the end of Hammond Way, the road leading to the
entrance. To get to Hammond Way, drive up (or down) Colchester Avenue until you
come to the traffic lights at a junction with shops (with the Pen-y-Lan “award-winning” Fish Bar!) and a building site on one side of the road and Hammond Way on the
other. Turn into Hammond Way. Follow the road all the way into the cul-de-sac at the end. When you reach Number 66, the last house on the right, go into the area by the
side fence and the large metal gates on your left are the entrance to the allotments. If I am not there just park up, call my mobile (below) and wait to be let in.
IMPORTANT : There is parking on site near the Meeting Room but it is limited so please car share, if possible, or park along Hammond Way.
Non-key holders, please be at the gate 10 minutes before the course starts and call/text 07533516744 if no-one is at the gate to let you in.
