Course Overview
This online course is creative, instructive and fast paced!

Each week, we shall cover a diverse range of techniques including, pen and wash, soft pastel, watercolour, charcoal and pencil. Subjects will be set by the tutor Vaughan and will include, landscape, seascape, animals, portraiture and still-life.

Vaughan will deliver a demonstration each week, together with 1:1 and group tuition allowing you to develop and enrich your artistic skills.

These sessions are taught through Google Classrooms/Google Meet software. You will need to download this system to your pc in order to access the online class. Your tutor will forward you the necessary codes and meeting link before the term starts using the email address provided at enrolment.

What should I bring to the first lesson?

What should I bring to the first lesson?
Good quality watercolour paper - 140lb NOT Surface or ROUGH.
Watercolour paints - Winsor and Newton or similar - tubes.
Selection of watercolour brushes - medium to large in size
Drawing board, masking tape, water spray mister, Masking Fluid
Set of GOOD QUALITY soft pastels - Senellier/ Faber Castell/Rembrandt etc
Box of charcoal - medium/large sticks
Black waterproof ink
Set of sketching pencils, paper for drawing.

You will also need a printer or a device to view images for each session.
