This course offers the chance to hand sew at your own pace. The main focus of the class will be to create your own applique fabric textile but the sessions will also support hand mending and upcycling of clothing.
This is a mainstream course that welcomes all.
By the end of the course Learners should feel confident with needle and thread and their ability to sew creatively/mend effectively.
Whether you're a complete beginner or confident with needle and thread, the tutor will be available to help with all creative and practical aspects, including basic sewing and creative stitchwork.
Progress will be recorded using a mobile phone camera. Photos will only show the work, plus the maker's hands. No faces will be captured unless the maker is keen and happy to do so.
There is no set homework for this course.
