Painting/ Creative Writing/Drawing / Textiles/ Letting it flow….

Make connections through mindful art. A new weekly opportunity to explore creativity.

This course aims to encourage participants to explore their creativity. This will be done through introducing new media and techniques as diverse as painting, monoprinting, creative writing, textiles, needle-felting and creative stitching.
This is a mainstream course that welcomes all.
By the end of the course Learners should feel confident with expressing themselves through a range of visual media, textiles and/or play with words.
Sessions aim to offer a relaxed, safe and supportive, creative environment. The tutor will allow space for an open and therapeutic, flow-approach to visual arts.
Progress will be recorded using a mobile phone camera. Photos will only show the work, plus the maker's hands. No faces will be captured unless the maker is keen and happy to do so.
There is no set homework for this course.
No additional costs are necessary.
Basic materials are supplied for this course.
No extra materials are necessary for this course but you may wish to bring a book and pencil to record your journey. It's advisable to wear comfortable clothing and avoid wearing long white sleeves!
This course could lead on to other creative adult education courses or help guide towards a Foundation Studies in Art and Design.
