Course Overview

This course is for students who have reached Level B2 CEFR,
have a good command of the language and want to increase their confidence in
speaking Spanish, using idioms confidently and appropriately. The main component
of the course is to talk about traditions, literature, cinema, music, politics and current
affairs. Articles from the Spanish press and Podcasts about fictional and factual
stories will be used to cover the topics studied in class. A number of advanced
grammatical structures will be revised according to the requirements of the class. By
the end of the course, students should have reached Level C1 CEFR.

What should I bring to the first lesson?

Pen and paper. You won’t need the book on the first lesson.

Eligibility:

Those who are not currently in education, training or employment and are in receipt of state benefits or support (excluding state retirement pension). those aged 50 plus who are not in full-time employment.
