Course Overview

On this course you will learn how to alter your clothes to fit and repair damaged garments. We will cover shortening hems, taking in seams, tears and rips, replacing zips and also how to care for your machine and discover what all the parts and functions are used for
Learners will need a sewing machine, sewing kit -scissors, thread, pins and garments that need repairing and altering and small pieces of fabric that they can use to make samples if
required.

Eligibility:

Those who are not currently in education, training or employment and are in receipt of state benefits or support (excluding state retirement pension). those aged 50 plus who are not in full-time employment.

- To allow us to provide equal opportunities for all eligible learners, please refrain from enrolling on more that three Learning For Work courses at this time. -
