Open to all levels, this class offers the opportunity to draw from observation.
Working in both pencil and charcoal for the session, you will practise measuring and how to
understand scale and proportions. This will lead us to develop a focus on light, shade and shadow and how to incorporate these qualities into your drawing. Subject matter will include everyday
objects and natural forms.
Students should bring with them: a range of drawing pencils which include different grades,
an eraser and sharpener. White cartridge paper will be available to purchase at the centre,
if you wish to bring a sketchbook or your own paper, please bring A3 or larger.
