Course Overview

Japan is famous for its Kimono styles, paper fans and character calligraphy. Everything is like an artwork in its own right.
Take a look at Japanese styles to make your own design for a Kimono and a paper fan.
Try your hand at writing in the Japanese language. In true Japanese style everything will be on paper.

What should I bring to the first lesson?

Eligibility:

Those who are not currently in education, training or employment and are in receipt of state benefits or support (excluding state retirement pension). those aged 50 plus who are not in full-time employment.
