This course is designed for individuals who are wanting to develop a portfolio to study an art subject in college or university. Developing a more extensive and diverse body of work is key to bridging the gap between school and the next steps in your creative education.
The course will focus on observational drawing with a study of line, tone, shape, shade, texture and scale. Each week you will work with a new drawing scenario with subjects such as portraiture, still life, objects, natural forms and interior spaces, all of which will help you to create a varied and substantial portfolio of work. The course will be led by a tutor who has experience teaching within further and higher education settings.
