Course Overview

This course is for complete beginners. The aim is to provide
students with the skills needed to communicate in everyday situations in a Spanishspeaking
setting. Basic elements of Spanish grammar will be introduced through
practical activities in a friendly atmosphere. Cultural aspects of the Spanish-speaking
world are introduced through reading exercises, class activities and online resources.
Students will acquire listening, speaking, reading and writing skills to reach Level
A1 CEFR.

Eligibility:

Those who are not currently in education, training or employment and are in receipt of state benefits or support (excluding state retirement pension). those aged 50 plus who are not in full-time employment.
