Using plain, pre-washed tote bags as a fabric base for appliqué, we'll start by cutting and layering material shapes selected for their colour and texture. Once pinned in place on our tote bags, we'll hand sew with cotton or embroidery threads. The tutor is on hand to assist and guide with 'invisible' or visible creative stitching.
Please note, the Appliqué and Sashiko classes are designed to work independently or to flow one into the other if you'd like to immerse yourself in a creative project for the day.
